The Illicit and Illegal Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons, and the Response of the European Union

Welcome to my website about the illicit transfer of small arms and light weapons (S.A.L.W), the problems that it creates, and the measures that the European Union is taking to tackle them. This site is part of a final year politics module that I am studying at the University of Exeter, entitled The Politics of Policing Transnational Crime in the E.U. My course tutor is Mr Bill Tupman and a link to his website can be found here.  The site itself is fairly self-explanatory and easy to follow but if you do have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me at j.hill@ex.ac.uk. Please also note that some of the files that are linked to from this site require an Acrobat Reader to open them which you can download from here for free if you don't already have one.
