Adits and openworks in valley to west of Walscott Farm. At work for iron 1873-8; possibly in conjunction with Marcia at Twitchen. Should not be confused with Bampfylde which was known as Poltimore in 1853-55.

Note - the authorís view of copper/gold mining development in this parish is not in agreement with that expressed by Dixon in Atkinson 1997. See Claughton Jan 1997 for areas of disagreement.
