Shafts and adits on veins (crosscourses) trending N 10 degrees W, 1100 yds northeast of Oxford Cross (partially in Mortehoe Parish). Working for iron in 1872; worked by Ynyscedwyn Iron Co. 1874 until 1877. Reopened in 1887 by Spreacombe Mining Syndicate but taken over by Spreacombe Vall Mining Co. Ltd. in the following year and worked by them until 1890. Reported to have been reworked during 1914-18 war.(Claughton, Jan.1976)
