Below are photographs of China taken during a 10 day visit in December 2006/January 2007. Shanghai was used as a base to visit nearby places such as Suzhou and Xitang. Suzhou is in Jiangsu province and can be reached from Shanghai within an hour by train. The city is famous for its beautiful bridges, canals and pagodas.
Xitang was used for filming a few scenes from Mission Impossible III to depict Shanghai. The town is in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province which can be reached in around 90 minutes from Shanghai.
