Erasmus study at Exeter
The Erasmus programme is part of the Socrates scheme run by the EU : its aim is to encourage a European dimension to higher education by promoting student mobility between universities in various European countries (principally EU members, but also several states that are close geographically or near to joining). It provides a framework for various sorts of exchange visit, including partial financing to cover living expenses. In the Department of Engineering this provides the opportunity for you to undertake your 3rd year individual project work at one of our partner universities. We have links with universities in the following countries :
Spain
France
Italy
Germany
Holland
Sweden
Czech Republic

- have a look at a map to see where you might end up.

The benefits of taking part include

the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects, often with an industrial component involving world-class companies such as Daimler-Chrysler and Ferrari
a chance to spend 4 months in some of the most attractive places in Europe, learning the language and immersing yourself in the culture
a valuable addition to your CV
