Visitors

Attractions at Cheddleton Flint Mill include the  Caldon Canal, two water mills, a period miller's cottage, a small museum about pottery raw materials and numerous other exhibits.

The Mill is open all year round (apart from 25th Dec). For current opening times, please dial 0161 408 5083 for a short recorded message.

Admission is free but donations are very welcome, as the Mill depends upon these to meet its day to day running costs. There is a car park, which is free to visitors (but donations are welcome). Guided tours can be given upon request.

There is ground floor access for people with mobility difficulties, but it should be noted that some of the site is rather uneven.

Large parties are welcome, but they should book in advance. Please leave a message for us on 0161 408 5083. The site's car park cannot take coaches, though advice can be given on where coaches may be left.
