Workshop in Experimental Economics

Experimental Economics

In 1997/98, this workshop will be taught by Professor Stephen Lea and Dr Roberto Burlando (University of Turin). It will take place in the first three weeks of the Trinity term. There will be two two-hour meetings per week, provisionally arranged for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Thursday 1st hour Lecture: Experiments on individual economic behaviour Lecture: Interactive experiments 2: Public goods, externalities and tax. Lecture: Experimental markets and macro experiments
2nd hour Experiment on saving/consumption, using paper and pencil techniques Computer-based experiment on public goods Experiment on market behaviour

Assessment:

Candidates will be expected to hand in a report in two parts
