In that draft a number of sections were flagged as awaiting input from Denmark and Japan, and had been so for some time. Between meetings, a subsequent Draft - 11 - has been issued which removed all references to expected input from Denmark and Japan, but failed to add any appropriate text. In parallel with this, at the May meeting, WG15's Rapporteur Group on Internationalisation (RIN), had elected to create an Issues list with the intention of tracking and condensing the history and status of fourteen issues which had occupied much of its time, especially where these applied to 1003.2b. The bulk of the effort of creating the Issues list fell to the UK, which had identified the problem, and WG15 directed RIN to dedicate its time to amending and approving the list at its two-day meeting. This effort was extremely worth-while; by the end of the week RIN had closed twelve of the fourteen issues on the Issues list as submitted, and added only a further four, one of which was also closed after further consideration. The result of the exercise will be to present WG15 at its next plenary with a set of recommendations for clearly identified internationalisation requirements in the 1003.2b (Additional Shell & Utilities Functionality) draft, and should enable the work to begin its progress through the registration and ballot process. With this intent, WG15 authorised submission of Draft 11 for PDAM registration. 3.
