The US response is contained in WG15 641 (TAG N570). ================ 9510-17 Closed US....Work with ITTF to resolve the naming inconsistency with the test method standards and report back to the May, 1996 WG15 meeting. *****The report from the US is contained in WG15 642 (TAG N576). ================ 9510-19 Closed US.....Investigate the possibility of pursuing the additional APIs (as reported in N614 in response to N561) as a new PAR in PASC and report back at the May 1996 WG15 meeting. There are currently no active PARs, or expected PARs, that cover any of the functional areas discussed in WG15 N561, (additional visual editors, revision control, compression tools). If there are people interested in progressing work in this area, the PASC SEC would be happy to entertain PARs in these areas. Any PARs that are forthcoming to the PASC SEC will be given due review, according to the review criteria established for such projects. It should be noted, however, that the concerns raised in WG15 N614 would be raised in any PAR approval discussions, and could affect the acceptability of projects for the explicit examples in WG15 N561. ================ 9510-22 Closed US....Provide the existing LIS work to people identified by the Danish national body. (RGCPA 9505-08) Each POSIX standard contains an Annex that describes all options and limits contained in the standard that a profile could use in reference to the standard. This was done in response to an early action on the development group to provide option and limit summaries in the base standards. In 9945-2:1993, this appears in Annex F.3.1 (page 1060). In 9945-1, it currently appears in the IEEE Std 1003.1b-1992 document, Annex F.3.1 (page 490). This standard which soon will be printed as the updated ISO 9945-1, which will further include POSIX threads (IEEE Std 1003.1c-1994) and its limits and options. ================ 9510-32 Closed US....Provide a draft Taxonomy Change Proposal for the POSIX OSE profiles for review and comment by WG15 prior to their May, 1996 meeting.
