(open action item 9305-31) Status: CLOSING...The IEEE POSIX.2b Working Group has reported that Draft 9 will be available in the next few weeks. This draft will be submitted for distribution as soon as it is available. Note: The U.S. did not distribute draft 8 because it did not meet the Synchronization Plan criteria for forwarding a document to WG15. 9310-16 US: Investigate making electronic copies of Draft documents available to WG15. (open action item 9305-33) Status: OPEN. This item is still being discussed with the IEEE. The U.S. will report to WG15 as soon as the requested information is available. 9310-17 US: Forward an appropriate copy of Amendment 1 of 9945-1:1990 (Real Time extensions) to the SC22 Secretariat for DIS processing. The U.S. has submitted the final draft of P1003.4 for submission to the SC22 Secretariat through ANSI for DIS registration. 9310-18 US: To provide a plan for incorporating into 9945-1 the additional rationale regarding the use of the terms "byte" and "character" as referenced in N349. (open action item 9305-40) Status: OPEN...U.S. has requested PASC/SEC to provide input which has been generated. We expect to receive a response from PASC within the next few weeks. The U.S. will forward this response to WG15 as soon as possible. 9310-24 Member Bodies: Host for spring 1996 WG15 meeting is required. Volunteers are requested to supply an official invitation to the Convener.
