Seperate thick language bindings The UK's current position with respect to WG15 Posix LIS standards is as follows: . The UK welcomes LIS drafts written to comply with WG15 N173 (TCOS-LIS) (Option 1), but will accept drafts written as separate thick language bindings (Option 5) where LIS versions are not available. The UK recommends revisiting the problem when WG11 completes its task, (Option 2), or when a second language binding to a Posix draft appears, whichever is sooner. NAMAS, based at the NPL in the UK, has been contacted. As yet they have expressed no interest in participating in RGCT activities.
