Subject: Resignation & Call for Volunteers: RGSEC

I just received a letter from Lionel Boiteau who
has been reassigned duties within his organization,
and will be unable to continue his standards activities.
Therefore, he is resigning his role in SC22/WG15
as Lead Rapporteur for the Security Rapporteur group,
and also his liaison role to SC21 and SC27.

I would therefore like to request that WG15 Member
Bodies solicit candidates for the Lead Rapporteur
of this group, and also for the liaison roles to
SC21 and SC27  (these may be different persons).

Please provide names back to me by August 31, 1993.
If I only have one candidate, I will ask that person
to serve on an interim basis though the Oct Meeting,
so that the RGSEC group can carry on it's planned
meeting.  It is important to get candidates identified
before the Oct. meeting so that we can make a selection
or confirmation at that time.
