	 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG15 Rapporteur Group of Internationalization

		    Terms of Reference and Programme of Work


			      Terms of Reference


	The Rapporteur group on internationalization (RIN) will
	study the aspects of internationalization related to POSIX
	and report its findings to SC22/WG15.


			       Programme of Work

	1.  Carry out a survey to identify requirements relevant to
	    internationalization.

	2.  Identify and forward requirements with recommendations to WG15.

	3.  Collect national body profiles for reference.

	4.  Perform investigations as needed to advance the
	    internationalization work of WG15 in liaison with WG20.

	5.  Review, from an internationalization perspective,
	    documents submitted to WG15 for review and comment.

	6.  Review and evaluate the impact of WG15 internationalization work
	    on networking and networks as relevant and required for POSIX,
	    in particular data exchange and interchange.

	7.  Review and evaluate impact on work of WG15 of other
	    documents relevant to internationalization.

	8.  Report all findings back to WG15.

	9.  Submit written minutes of each meeting to WG15.
