	 Draft Status of IEEE 1003.1LIS and IEEE 1003.16

The IEEE 1003.1LIS and IEEE 1003.16 documents distributed for re-
view and comment to WG15 as JTC1/SC22/WG15 N222 and N223, respec-
tively, are both at the draft 2 level.	They are  complete,  with
minor exceptions, and have been through at least one round of re-
view by the IEEE 1003.1 working group.	Some sections  have  been
reviewed several times.

In reviewing these documents, special attention should be paid to
the  Editor's  Notes  in  the  documents,  which indicate planned
differences in appearance and content between the current and fi-
nal drafts, and describe known problems and open issues.

There are some known typographical problems.  These will be fixed
in subsequent drafts.
