			Security Rapporteur Meeting

Unfortunately the Rapporteur was unable to make the meeting, so Ron Elliott
acted as Rapporteur.  The following are the main points discussed during the
meeting.


Comment on 1003.6 Draft:

The Netherlands have a 25 page report of comments to P1003.6 Draft 6 from a
member of the Netherlands SC27.  It will be sent to Ron Elliott for distribution in
WG15 and the IEEE 1003.6 WG.

There was a lot of discussion concerning the IEEE balloting process and how that
tied into the SC22 and WG15 review and ballot process.  The current
synchronization plan expects the IEEE ballot version of the Draft to be sent to
SC22 for Review and Comment.  The 1st re-circulation Draft will be sent for CD
Ballot.

There was also discussion on the two liaison statements received from SC27 and
SC18/WG4, and how to respond to them.  The suggested resolutions are
appended.IEEE and other SRG members.  This will be the only comments received.


Next Meeting:

We should have a full day of meetings next time to discuss comments, concerns,
objections recieved after the IEEE 1003.6 ballot plus any feedback from the SC22
review.


Proposed Resolutions:

1.	The SRG recommends that WG15 forward to SC22 items 7 & 8 of document
	WG15 N141, and asks for them to be forwarded to JTC1 as part of the
	division of work item.  Minor amendments should be made : change
	"addenda" to "normative addendum" and "ballot" to "CD ballot".

2.	Resolution from WG15 asking US member body to provide the IEEE ballot
	document for R & C by SC22.  It MUST contain a note to reviewers explaining
	that the document format will change to correspond to the ISO 9945-1 and
	9945-2 document formats.  Question: Does WG15 need to approve these
	formats?

3.	WG15 propose to SC22 (SC22 N891): Appoint Kevin Murphy as SC22/WG15
	liaison to SC27/WG1.  Request name of SC27/WG1 liaison person for us to
	send materials for SC27/WG1 comment.

4.	(SC22 N920): WG15 to forward document to US member body for action and
	send reply to SC18 explaining action.

5.	WG15 Security rapporteurs should submit a list of areas which should be
	considered for additional security work to WG15 Rapporteur.  These will be
	considered at the next meeting and will be forwarded to the appropriate
	WG.
