I would ask that we be careful in introducing new features to justify them in terms of a clearly stated national need, and preferably a solution that addresses needs that occur in more than one nation or locale. ("Preferably", not absolutely a requirement, because there may be some things that must be done that really are for only one locale.) Not being careful to meet actual (and important) needs could lead to a backlash that reduces the gains we've made so far in the area. I believe that in fact, there is some degree of backlash developing already. Donn
