This is not an official statement from the WG20 convener, but I thought it might interest you anyway. He regretted that he has not been able to call a WG20 meeting (internationalization) yet, but he was in the process of calling one. The meeting was to be scheduled for the week of 4-8 Nov or 11-15 Nov 91. It cannot be done before beacuse of ISO meeting notification rules. I advised him to not do it in the week 4-8 Nov, as WG15 is having a meeting in Stockholm at the same time, and there is a number of people attending WG15RIN that is also wanting to go to the WG20 meeting. He would see to that the meeting was not clashing with WG15, and maybe the week 18-22 Nov would be employed. One consequence of having the first WG20 meeting in November is that there is *no* WG20 meeting in conjunction with the SC22 plenary. Another is that it is not likely that the meeting will be in conjunction with the SC22 ad hoc character group. Dick Weaver has tried hard to make such a joint meeting (which was advised by SC22) but eventually gave up. Miles Ellis, the convener of the ad hoc group has reportedly got another job at the Oxford University, which has given him less support for ISO work. The host of the November WG20 meeting is likely to be IBM in Sunnyvale, California, USA, where Dick Weaver works. Keld
