I recognize that time is running short for everyone to make their arrangements so we can not wait for PASC to publish this information. Consequently, I've put together Hotel information that I believe to be very close to what will be provided by PASC. The PASC and IEEE Meetings will be held at the following Hotel: Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resorts 2 Somerset Parkway Nashua, New Hampshire, USA 03063 Phone 1 800 NASHUA (962-7482) or 603 886 1200 Fax 603 595 4199 There is a room block is under the name of IEEE Computer Society at a cost of $85.00 for a single room. The web address for the hotel is www.crowneplazanashua.com. The closest major airport is Boston, Massachusetts and is about a one to one and a half hour drive depending on traffic in Boston. I will provide detailed directions in a later email. The PASC meeting will run July 17-21, the USTAG Meeting on July 20, the IEEE PASC P1494 and WG15 ISO14766 (Guide for National Profiles and Locales) working groups on Thursday, July 20, 2000 and the WG15 Meeting on July 21 & 22 (if necessary). There will be no fee for the WG15 meeting, but there is a minimum number of room-nights that PASC needs to have purchased as part of their contract with the Hotel. So PASC encourages attendees to consider attending other PASC meetings in addition to WG15 attendance ( as noted above ) and of course bring a large delegation and occupy many rooms. The US delegation informs me that they would like to have a non-hosted WG15 dinner on Thursday night, 20 July. This is the evening before the start of the WG15 meeting and will permit a greater concentration on work during the Friday Meeting.
