There have been two proposals; one is at the time of the Austin Group meeting in Reading, UK in early May. The UK delegation has kindly offered to extent a formal invitation. The second opportunity is at the POSIX meeting to be held in Nashua NH USA in July. There is a requirement from SC22 to provide them with at least a four month notice of a meeting so that formal notice can be sent to all member countries. This requirement makes the Reading meeting opportunity impossibly to meet. In order to meet the four month requirement prior to the July meeting I need to submit information to SC22 in short order. I would be happy to proceed with the organization of this meeting if that is the desire of the committee. Jim
