I have added these to the Austin Group document register as document number Austin/14 , to read them , see URL http://www.opengroup.org/austin/docs/austin_14.pdf One of the items defined by the procedures is that each group (IEEE-SA, ISO/IEC and TOG) identify an organizational representative (OR). The ORs will play a significant role in the operation of the group. We need to identify the ORs for each group at the start of the upcoming meeting, so I would ask each body (PASC SEC, ISO/IEC SC22 WG15 and TOG) to take the necessary steps to identify their OR and to notify me (as interim Chair of the Austin Group) at your earliest convenience or at the start of the Austin Group meeting on March 2nd. An immediate task for the ORs will be to elect a chair of the Austin Group; the procedures state that the chair is selected by a majority vote of the three ORs (note that the chair cannot also be an OR). I will stand down as chair early in the meeting for the election. I am willing to stand as a candidate for chair and would invite other candidates to come forward by March 1st. best regards Andrew ----- Andrew Josey The Open Group Interim Austin Group Chair Apex Plaza,Forbury Road, Email: a.josey@opengroup.org Reading,Berks.RG1 1AX,England Tel: +44 118 9508311 ext 2250 Fax: +44 118 9500110
