This meeting will occur on September 2 and 3, the first two days of the next Open Group Base Working Group meeting in Austin, Texas. These two days will be convened as a joint meeting between the PASC POSIX Revision Study group, WG15 and the Base Working Group. This joint meeting is an open meeting, and for the avoidance of doubt, there is no requirement to be a member of The Open Group Base Working Group to attend. Attendees should be those willing to work on the joint standard(s), not just those willing to discuss "processes". This is not a "process-meeting". For non- TOG members there will be a meeting fee, not to exceed US $140. This fee is to cover direct costs to The Open Group for the meeting (room costs, photocopying, refreshments and lunches). An agenda will be circulated 30 days in advance of the meeting, as will logistics information (hotel and directions). For interested parties who are unable to attend in person, a teleconference will occur during the second day of the meeting. To register for the meeting, or to signup for the teleconference, you need to sign up by August 10th. For information on signing up please contact Andrew Josey by electronic mail to a.josey@opengroup.org. best regards Andrew Josey Chair, The Open Group Base Working Group, and Chair, POSIX Revision Study Group ----- Andrew Josey The Open Group Base WG Chair Apex Plaza,Forbury Road, Email: a.josey@opengroup.org Reading,Berks.RG1 1AX,England Tel: +44 118 9508311 ext 2250 Fax: +44 118 9500110 OSF/1, Motif, UNIX and the "X" device are registered trademarks in the US and other countries, and IT DialTone and The Open Group are trademarks of The Open Group. -- This list is managed by MACS, Inc.
