We previously had Prof. Saito, and Keld Simionsen who had indicated a willingness to serve on an interim basis, but expressed a preference for a "full term" candidate. We have been looking to fill this role for a year, and I'm quite pleased with both the willingness of interested national bodies and individuals to fill the gap, and of course with (finally) having a candidate for the full term. If I hear no objections from WG15 members, or other full term candidate nominations, I will indicate WG15's support for Jim at the August SC22 meeting. thanks ...
