Note, the IEEE status report at: http://standards.ieee.org/cgi-bin/status Has 1003.1g listed as APPROVED as of December 1997 so I think we are in much better shape here than was implied at our meeting this last week. thanks Jim Isaak j.isaak@computer.org or jim.isaak@digital.com http://computer.org/standard/Internet for information about Internet Best Practice Stds. -----Original Message----- From: william c. rinehuls [SMTP:rinehuls@access.digex.net] Sent: Monday, April 27, 1998 3:50 PM To: jim isaak Cc: robert pritchard; ker@NU.cs.fsu.edu Subject: DAM4 to IS 9945-1 Hi, Jim: I have received the ITTF Table of Replies for DAM4 to IS 9945-1. The only comments were from the US and the UK dealing with the synchronization plan so I don't think you need a copy before you would get it in the SC22 mailing. Bear in mind that it was provided only in paper form and, therefore, you won't see it for a while. So if you want me to fax a copy to you I will be happy to do so. Just let me know. Based on this Table, a very simple Disposition of Comments Report would be in order - however you usually deal with responding to issues regarding the synchronization plan. In the cover transmittal, ITTF requested that the document for publication be received by August 15, 1998.
