If this is not possible (the ballot has been started) then the process will get to this end, at the expense of an additional ballot cycle in SC22. However, if it is possible to realign with the more recent draft, we could go directly to final PDAM and save some time and effort. [Barry, can you provide the updated draft for this ASAP.] thanks, Jim Isaak =========================== Internet Practices Standards Study Group: see: http://computer.org/standard/Internet/ ======================== email (external to Digital): j.isaak@computer.org email (internal to Digital): Jim.Isaak@DIGITAL.com Home Office: 603-465-3131 Fax (not recommended! different site) 978-486-7656 Physical mail: Digital Equipment Corp. 21 Winding Valley Rd. Deane, ANSI Staff From: R. L. Pritchard, IEEE TAG Administrator Subj: USNB submittal to SC22 - PDAM 1/14515-1 At a previous meeting, the US TAG for ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG15 (WG15 TAG) authorized the submittal of IEEE Draft Standard P2003.1b, Draft 5, June 1996, to the SC22 Secretariat for balloting in SC22 as PDAM 1 to ISO/IEC 14515-1: Test methods for measuring conformance to POSIX-Part 1. Actually, no transfer of a document is necessary in this case, since Draft 5 of P2003.1b was previously balloted for PDAM Registration by the SC22 Secretariat, in the last quarter of 1996. That ballot was successful, and no disposition of coments was required; see voting report in SC22 N 2358. Hence, I believe all that is required is issuance in SC22 of the balloting forms for PDAM ballot. If you have any questions, please contact me.
