Dear Jim and alls:

   The following is the Japan Action Item Report.
As for the attending the WG15 meeting, I cannot join from the fisrt
day(Monday). Porbably I will arrive at Cornwall in the afternoon of
Tuesday. Sorry to be late to arrive.

 As for the meeting for the guideline of National Profiles,  I can
attend on Thursday.

9705-01  Japan and Netherlands  -  provide URLs and other information 
they  would like posted to the WG15 web page (rolled over from 9510-08 
on National Bodies and 9605-01 and 9610-01 on Japan and Netherlands).

=> Open

9705-06 Denmark and  Japan - work with the WG15 SGFS liaison (Willem 
 Wakker) to figure out how  National Profiles could be incorporated 
into TR-10000. (rolled over from 9605-33 and 9610-13).

=> Open

9705-15  Member Bodies  -  Review the Web pages, especially the 
document on Cultural Convention Specifications and report any comments 
to Keld Simonsen. (rolled over from 9610-33).

=> Open

9705-33 Member Bodies - provide feedback to Head of U.S. delegation 
(Roger Martin) by 11-July as to whether work on 1003.1m 
(Checkpoint/Restart) and 1003.1p (Resource Limits) should be pursued, 
and whether new, additional manpower can be provided - lack of extra 
manpower will result in withdrawal of sponsorship of the IEEE PARs and 
hence work by the U.S. development body.

=> No resource available from Japan.

9705-41 Member Bodies - consider and report to the next WG15 meeting 
whether 22.21.03.01 (-)  System Administration Overview {1387.1/7+} be 
withdrawn, or whether they can make available resources to progress 
the work.  MBs should note that JTC1 regulations currently indicate 
that five MBs are necessary to endorse work on a proposed NP.

=> No resource available from Japan.

9705-55 Member Bodies - seek volunteers for the post of WG15 Convener, 
to run for three years from September 1998 at the latest.  Applicants 
should have sponsorship from their employers and from their National 
Bodies.

=> No candidates from Japan.

Response to WG15 Online distribution

=> Not sure if all necessary access rights to the WG15 Web pages
   (and also to the PASC Web pages?) are given.
   Would like to check them at the WG15 meeting.
