From Toronto take highway 401 east toward Montreal. Take exit 789 (Brookdale Road) or exit 792 (McConnell Road) south and turn left on Water Street. Follow Water Street to Montreal Road. From Ottawa take highway 16/416 or highway 31 south to the 401 and then east to exit 789 or 792 as for Toronto. Or take highway 417 east to highway 138 south and then Brookdale, Pitt, or McConnell south to Water Street. From the U.S. by car most of the North-South Interstate highways in Vermont and New York will get you to a border crossing and from there to either the major East-West highways in Quebec and Ontario. Cornwall is immediately across a bridge from Massena, New York. (If you take Brookdale Road south from the 401 be careful to go left of the bridge to Water Street and not across it to the U.S..)
