These rooms are all reserved for a Sunday, October 19th arrival and a Thursday, October 23rd departure. There will be a reception on the evening of the 19th and a dinner on the evening of the 23rd co-hosted by the Standards Council of Canada and Revenue Canada. The cost will be $92. per person per night plus taxes (currently 15%) and that includes all meals. If you prefer to stay off site there is a $92. per day meeting fee. What I need to know real soon now is the names, and arrival and departure dates (if they're different from the above) of everyone who will be attending. If you need a double room please indicate that as there are relatively few double rooms available. I cannot yet confirm the additional cost for the second person in the double room but will do so as soon as possible. Keld and Prof. Saito, the national profiles and locales meeting will be on Thursday, October 23rd. Are you expecting any additional people for that meeting only or will they also be attending the full WG15 meeting all week? Will you need to stay over until Friday, October 24th as a result? Payment arrangement details are still being worked out but we will be able to accept most major credit cards. If anyone is planning on renting a car and driving I would recommend flying into Ottawa instead of Montreal unless the airfare is higher. Train and bus service from both locations is probably about equal. You will have to get from the airport to the city centres to connect with the train and bus services in most cases (Montreal Dorval airport may be an exception). If you can provide me with your arrival time and location enough in advance I can provide you with more detailed options. In the meantime here are some potentially helpful URLs: http://www.navcanada.ca/ http://www.visit.cornwall.on.ca/ http://www.city.cornwall.on.ca/ http://www.viarail.ca/ Look forward to seeing everyone in October.
