(by the way, the secretary's AI report and the latest version of the
RIN issues list (SD3) were emailed to this list some weeks back.  Both
should be available on the email archive at dkuug.dk, SD3 is available
on the 'web pages and if you're really desperate I can email them

		   UK Action Item Report to WG15/RIN, May 1996


9510-08 Rapporteurs to review and respond to the parts of RIN N158 which
	address the LC_COLLATE proposal, with specific attention to
	whether it can be resolved by changes only to the localedef
	specification, or whether changes to the API are required in
	order to handle the proposed localedef extension.

  UK:	The use of setlocale() rather than a change to the API for
	setweights() appears to be the most elegant solution to the
	problem.


9510-10 Rapporteurs to review and respond to the Japanese proposal for
	LC_CTYPE extension for locale-specific character mapping in RIN
	N158.

  UK:	The UK has no objection to the proposal in RIN N158 for the
	LC_CTYPE extension.
