The vote on approval of CD 15068-3 was: P Members Supporting CD Approval without comment: 12 (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland, UK, and Ukraine) P Members Supporting CD Approval with comments: 2 (France, USA) P Members Not Supporting CD Approval: 0 P Members Abstaining: 1 (Sweden) P Members Not Voting: 6 (Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Greece and Slovenia) O Members Supporting CD Approval without comments: 1 (Korea Republic) The comment accompanying the French vote dealt with the French title for the document: "Langages de Programmation, leurs environnemenets et interfaces systeme - Technologies de l information - Interfaces systeme d exploitation portable (POSIX) - Partie 3: Gestion des comptes utilisateur." The comment should be forwarded to ITTF for consideration at the time the document goes forward for DIS processing. PLEASE INCLUDE THE COMMENT IN THE PACKAGE WHEN YOU SEND IT FOR DIS PROCESSING. The comment accompanying the USA vote requires the preparation of a Disposition of Comments Report. The comment reads: "The USNB would point out that the version of this CD document that is subsequently registered for DIS ballot should be identical with the version approved by the IEEE in order to comply with the approved JTC 1/SC22 Synchronization Plan." (The Disposition of Comments Report can be very simple - just stating that the version being forwarded for DIS process is identical to the version approved by the IEEE. But it does have to be stated - or if it isn't, that has to be stated too.) The actual ballot results won't go for reproduction and printing for another week and in the interim I may get additional votes. If I do get any that are substantive (i.e., contain comments which WG15 must consider), I will let you know post haste. Best wishes Bill Rinehuls
