French Comments: AFNOR in the section "cooperation and liaison" it should be indicated that X/Open consortia should be also involved in this New Work Item. (Remainder: X/Open candidature as PAS submitter has been recently accepted by JTC 1. Moreover, X/Open and JTC 1 SC22/WG 15 POSIX have established a liaison type "C".

This C-Liaison has been approved by SC 22 plenary held in U.S.A. 18 to 22 November 1995 and has to be confirmed at the next JTC 1 meeting.
