Cc: m.nielsen@ieee.org As a result of receiving no negitive ballots or substanitive comments on either of these documents, they are both approved as you can see in the Secretariat report below. This means we will not need a disposition of comments report for either document!! Congratulations, we either must be doing things right, or folks have stopped reading our documents.... That comment was: "The USNB offers the following comment to the ITTF: This TCOR should be integrated with the main 9945-1 document and amendments approved to date for purposes of publication". 1 abstention (Austria). The comment was: Austria has to abstain for momentary lack of expertise." And 8 not voting: Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Greece, New Zealand and Slovenia - although I expect Slovenia's vote to eventually arrive supporting adoption (They send theirs by slow boat and then complain that it isn't recognized in the initial Ballot Summary). The official results will be sent out in SC22 document N2011 with the following comment from the Secretariat: "Since the comments received were either an explanation for an abstention (Austria) or a suggestion for the method of publication (USA), no Disposition of Comments Report is required and WG15 is requested to prepare the final text for publication, taking into consideration the suggestion from the USA." SC22 Letter Ballot N1897 (Concurrent CD Registration and Ballot for POSIX Software Administration) closed with following tally: CD Registration 13 countries voted affirmatively without comment: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, USA and Korea Republic) (See my note above regarding Korea) o countries voted affirmatively with comments. 0 countries opposed registration. 2 countries abstained: Austria and Sweden. The comment accompanying the Austria vote was "Austria has to abstain for momentary lack of expertise". The comment accompanying the Sweden vote was: "Expert resources missing." 9 countries did not vote: Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, New Zealand and Slovenia. (See my note above regarding Slovenia.) CD Approval The vote was exactly the same as for CD Registration and the comments accompanying the abstentions were the same. The Summary of Voting is being issued as SC22 document N2012 with the following Secretariat comment: "CD 15068-2 has been registered. Since the only comments received were explanations for abstentions, there is no requirement for a Disposition of COmments Report and WG15 is requested to prepare the final text for DIS approval action." If other votes come in, I will let you know. Best wishes Bill Rinehuls PS. I received your package of goodies concerning the outcome of the October WG15 meeting and will process the things included which can be processed now, and await the others. Bill
