I strongly recommend producing a merged P1003.1c document, both
for the reason of providing a consolidated baseline for future
developments, and for the reason of exposing any overlooked 
problems that might have been caused by changes in 1003.1c
(e.g. some global replacements of "process" by "thread").

The sooner any such inconsistencies are exposed, the sooner they
can be resolved.
