He is right. http://stdsbbs.ieee.org:70/0/pub/PASC/POSIX_11_94.htm does work. the :70 is the way to get to the HTTP server as opposed to gopher or other channels. The directory structure is on: http://stdsbbs.ieee.org:70/1/pub/PASC/ [note the 1 instead of 0] ...I'm not sure why these addresses have these little inconsistencies, but they do block access --sigh [obviously a need for standards] Jim
