As I remember the October meeting I have quite a bit of homework on hand. Most of this is worked out if not yet on paper. If anyone wishes to correct me, I believe that I owe the group the following :- a. Suggested changes to Locale text in light of the formal definition work. b. Suggested revision to the regular expression material as a result of formal definition work. c. Revised formal definitions of charmaps, locales and extended and ordinary regular expressions. I may not get the formal definition revisions completed before early May, but the suggested textual changes will be available by the end of this month (teaching and health permitting). You will note that I have not included answering the WG15 locale questionnaire as I can't get any input from anyone else "due to lack of funding". A sorry situation, but I can attempt a limited response using friends with an interest but not the 'official' member body cultural experts -- if that will be better than nothing. Have I missed anything?? Don't all work TOO hard! Regards, Keith PS There will be an M-2 liaison report aa we have just to-day (via e-mail) agreed on the overall binding strategy to be adopted. This will be fleshed out in the next few weeks.
