We have not had the time to look at it, but: It seems like a very thick specifiaction for a "thin" C binding. I have an ambition of looking at it and see if I would have some good ideas. I actually have been thinking about it. How many people have been working on this? (I know Paul has) I am fairly new to it, and if it has been a lot of people, my ideas may not improve things. Is the strategy for turning POSIX.1 into a LIS spec described somewhere? keld
