X-Charset: ASCII X-Char-Esc: 29 WG15 members: The mail below indicates that PCTE is being considered for ISO Fastrack ... if you have feelings about this, please let your SC22 delegate know, and/or myself. I will be at the Vienna meeting and able to present any WG15 oriented comments on this. I've just been to part of a UK meeting about PCTE - as an interested individual, the UK committee was represented by John Dawes who'll report back officially to them. It seems that ECMA plan to submit PCTE for fast track in due course and also bindings, to C, Ada, C++ at least. Liaisons are envisaged with WG9,11,14,15 and 21 at least. I can't recall whether PCTE has been suggested as a specific item for the agenda at Vienna, but maybe it should be. I have no status to ask for it myself but if Joe/Bob haven't already got it on maybe a MB could ask for it. Since ECMA are still I think an L-member maybe someone could come to talk about it - except that the first international PCTE confernce is taking place the same week in The Hague! (However, someone at the meeting - not John - told me that he thought that this might not be an insuperable problem.) I report this just for information, if anything is to be done someone else needs to take action! Brian Meek
